Nicole Brown
Veterinary Assistant
Dr. Amber Manley, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Amber Manley brings over 15 years of veterinary experience to Stone Avenue Vet, including 8 years as a practicing veterinarian. Her journey began at 18 as a large animal assistant, working with horses, cattle, and goats. After earning her degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University, she attended NC State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she focused on small animal care.
Today, Dr. Manley provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, with a strong interest in dentistry, dermatology, and surgery. Her daily work includes performing surgical and dental procedures and seeing both preventive care and sick visits.
Originally from Anderson, SC, Dr. Manley now shares life with two beloved spaniels—Harper, a playful goofball, and Cricket, an adorable (and slightly sneaky) treat-loving companion. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her tackling home projects, reading, working out, or cheering on the Clemson Tigers. (Just don’t ask her to care for your houseplants—she’ll stick to the pets!)
Sydney Duplay
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Sydney Duplay, LVT, has dedicated the past four years to veterinary medicine, gaining experience in shelter, emergency, and general practice settings. Her journey began at Charleston Animal Society, where she worked as an adoptions counselor and frequently assisted in surgery. It was there that she discovered her true calling and passion for working with animals.
Sydney’s diverse background includes one year in shelter medicine, 1.5 years in emergency care, and 1.5 years in general practice. She became a licensed veterinary technician in July 2023, marking a significant milestone in her career. As part of the veterinary care team, Sydney is skilled in anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, phlebotomy, radiography, IV catheter placement, administering medications and vaccines, and filling prescriptions.
At home, Sydney enjoys spending time with her two beloved German Shepherds: Slade, a 6.5-year-old “goofy” companion, and Snooki, a 4.5-year-old attention-loving dog. When she’s not working, Sydney likes to relax with her boyfriend Stephen, play games, read, and watch TV – including Judge Judy—because who doesn’t need a daily dose of no-nonsense courtroom drama?
Sydney’s passion for animal care and her diverse experiences make her an essential member of the Stone Ave Vet team.
Minna Conlin
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Minna Conlin is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 16 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She began her career in equine medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in animal care that continues to influence her work today.
Driven by a lifelong passion for animals, Minna is deeply committed to strengthening the human-animal bond. She believes this connection is truly special and takes pride in advocating for pets who rely on us for their health and well-being.
At Stone Ave Vet, Minna plays a key role in surgery and anesthesia—her favorite areas of practice. You’ll often find her in the operating room ensuring patients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout procedures. She also enjoys mentoring students who are shadowing at the clinic, helping them build confidence and a strong understanding of daily veterinary operations.
Minna is honored to have served as a member of Trident Technical College’s Academic Advisory Board, contributing to the education and development of future veterinary professionals.
At home, Minna’s constant companion is Ruby, her energetic and affectionate 2-year-old Staffordshire mix who loves cuddles, chew toys, and trips to the dog park.
Outside of work, Minna enjoys horseback riding, mountain biking, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with animals. And while she’s dedicated to caring for all creatures—she’ll admit she’s sometimes a little intimidated by cats!

She is especially proud of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, a milestone that reflects her dedication to the field.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and including her pets in as many activities as possible. She shares her home with Mia, a 10 year old pit bull mix she adopted during tech school, and Waldo, a young tabby who found his way into her life as a stray kitten.
She also has a soft spot for farm life, especially chickens and cows.

Dr. Rachel Porter, DVM
Veterinarian
Rachel Porter has been serving Greenville and the surrounding areas for the past 13 years as an associate veterinarian. With a deep passion for building connections and caring for others, she found her perfect calling in veterinary medicine—caring for beloved pets.
Dr. Porter’s role on the veterinary care team encompasses all aspects of veterinary care, from practicing medicine, diagnosing and treating diseases, to performing surgeries, dental procedures, and providing vaccination and preventative medicine.
Although she humbly says she doesn’t have a specific professional achievement, Rachel prides herself on doing her best where she has been planted, striving to offer excellent care for each patient.
Outside of her veterinary work, Dr. Rachel Porter loves to bake, sing, and spend quality time with her husband and two daughters. Her family also includes Halligan, a 5-year-old Beagle mix rescued from the side of the road, who is powered by his nose and stomach, like any true Beagle. Rachel’s love for animals is further reflected in her passion for rescue pets.
A fun fact about Dr. Rachel Porter is her childhood nickname, “Squirrel,” given by her mom because she never stopped moving—leading her to now collect squirrel-themed items as a tribute to that playful nickname. She also loves her church and enjoys staying connected with her community.
Dr. Kat Wilhelm, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kat Wilhelm is a Veterinarian at Stone Ave Vet with a diverse and deeply rooted background in veterinary medicine. She brings over 11 years of experience in the field, including three years as a practicing veterinarian. Her professional journey spans shelter medicine, mixed animal practice, small animal care, and veterinary research involving equine and poultry species. While she once set out to become a poultry veterinarian, her time in vet school led her to discover an unexpected passion for goats, a love she still proudly claims.
Dr. Kat’s path into veterinary medicine was shaped by both curiosity and compassion. Originally interested in human medicine, her perspective shifted after shadowing at a veterinary clinic in high school. A pivotal moment came when her family dog, Susie, underwent cancer treatment. Caring for Susie at home during chemotherapy gave Dr. Kat firsthand experience in the bond between pets, their families, and the veterinary team, ultimately solidifying her calling.
In her role at Stone Ave Vet, Dr. Kat provides comprehensive care that includes wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and client education. She values collaboration and takes pride in working alongside her colleagues to support both pets and their people in the community. She considers joining the team at Stone Ave and working with Dr. Oz and Dr. Porter a meaningful professional milestone.
At home, Dr. Kat shares her life with Daisy Mae, her 6.5 year old beagle mix rescue known for her sass, signature underbite, and love of sunbathing and carrying around stuffed animals. During veterinary school, Dr. Kat also cared for a variety of unique pets, including geckos, a salamander, and a ball python.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kat Wilhelm enjoys a full and creative life. She loves traveling with her husband, a commercial pilot, and has a lifelong appreciation for exploring new places thanks to her multicultural upbringing. She is an avid crafter, enjoys cooking and baking, and rarely turns down a good board or card game with friends. She also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and relaxing at the lake, and stays closely connected with her family in North Carolina. A fun and unexpected highlight from her career includes assisting on a wildlife conservation project in South Africa, where she worked with a veterinary team helping collect rhino semen for a white rhino preservation effort.

That experience sparked her drive to help animals live healthier, more comfortable lives. At Stone Ave, she supports the doctors during appointments, helps guide clients through care plans, and makes sure both pets and people feel supported every step of the way.
Outside the clinic, Juli has a full house and then some.
